----- This research aims to describe the process of introducing social and cross-cultural skills in early childhood and to identify the development of children's skills as a result of the STEAM approach applied. This study uses a mixed method with a concurrent embedded design that combines qualitative primary data regarding roles, factors, and challenges using interviews and anecdotal notes. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Additionally, quantitative secondary data regarding the development of children's social and cross-cultural skills is collected using observation sheets, analyzed using the Guttman scale. This research involves 2 teachers and 19 children aged 5-6 years at the PAUD Labschool UPI Purwakarta. The research results show that the role of teachers in introducing social and cross-cultural skills has yielded positive results, such as involving children in creating learning rules, appreciating individual uniqueness within groups, respecting others' feelings, and creating a conducive environment for collaboration. This role is considered effective as 97% of children demonstrated the emergence of these skills. This emergence is marked by children being able to understand rules, work together with their groups, appreciate their friends' work, provide assistance, and engage in discussions and role-sharing with their peers. This emergence is influenced by internal factors such as the child's self and external factors such as teacher motivation, parental support, and peer encouragement. These efforts have been made despite some challenges that slightly hinder progress, such as children still being egocentric and not understanding the concept of grouping. However, these challenges can be addressed through appropriate strategies. However, these challenges can be overcome through the right strategies in implementing STEAM and approaches in the learning process that can stimulate those skills. date: 2025-08-15 date_type: published institution: Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia department: KODEPRODI86281#PGPAUD Kampus Purwakarta_S1 thesis_type: other thesis_name: other official_url: https://respository.upi.edu related_url_url: https:perpustakaan.upi.edu related_url_type: org citation: Regina Nurlena, - and Suci Utami Putri, - and Jojor Renta Maranatha, - (2025) DAMPAK PENDEKATAN STEAM TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL DAN LINTAS BUDAYA PADA ANAK USIA DINI.
