Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengkaji strategi pemilihan yang diterapkan orang tua sesuai pendekatan parental mediation dalam membentuk karakter anak berdasarkan enam pilar karakter, serta mengidentifikasi jenis konten yang dipilih sebagai sarana penguatan karakter tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada orang tua anak usia dini. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan orang tua telah menyadari pentingnya pendampingan memilih konten dengan menerapkan Supervision, Technical Mediation, dan Active Mediation dalam upaya penyaringan konten. Pilar karakter yang ingin ditanamkan orang tua yaitu kepercayaan, kepedulian, dan tanggung jawab melalui jenis konten edukatif hiburan yang tidak hanya menghibur tetapi memberikan pengetahuan pada anak. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keterlibatan aktif orang tua dalam seleksi dan pendampingan konten digital anak berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter positif anak sejak usia dini.  -----  This study aims to analyze parents’ selection of content as an effort to strengthen the character of early childhood. The increasing intensity of children’s access to digital media has the potential to influence character formation, making the role of parents in choosing content crucial. Therefore, this research examines the strategies implemented by parents based on the parental mediation approach in shaping children’s character according to the six pillars of character, as well as identifying the types of content chosen as a means of character strengthening. This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method through questionnaires distributed to parents of early childhood. Data were analyzed using descriptive percentage techniques. The results indicate that parents have recognized the importance of accompanying their children in content selection by applying Supervision, Technical Mediation, and Active Mediation to filter content. The character pillars that parents aim to instill include trustworthiness, caring, and responsibility, primarily through educational-entertainment content that not only entertains but also provides knowledge to children. These findings emphasize that parents’ active involvement in selecting and supervising children’s digital content plays a vital role in fostering positive character development from an early age.
