High schools subject: QH Natural history description: Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains dan kolaborasi sebagian besar siswa di Indonesia mendorong upaya untuk melakukan pembelajaran yang dapat membekalkan keterampilan-keterampilan tersebut. Salah satu upaya untuk membekalkan keterampilan proses sains dan kolaborasi adalah melalui Project-Based Learning (PjBL) bermuatan potensi lokal. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis pengaruh PjBL bermuatan potensi lokal fermentasi Lemea terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan kolaborasi pada subbab bioteknologi konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-experiment dengan desain non equivalent pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu yang terdiri dari 67 siswa ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian dilakukan pada dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajaran PjBL bermuatan potensi lokal fermentasi Lemea dan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran menggunakan metode ceramah dan praktikum secara berkelompok. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes soal keterampilan proses sains, angket kolaborasi dan lembar observasi pembelajaran. Soal keterampilan proses sains berjumlah 20 butir soal pilihan ganda. Angket kolaborasi berjumlah 30 butir pernyataan modifikasi dari Collaboration Self-Assessment Tool (CSAT). Lembar observasi pembelajaran disusun berdasarkan sintaks PJBL. Analisis data menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test dan Mann–Whitney U Test. Interpretasi hasil statistik dapat memberikan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif PjBL bermuatan potensi lokal fermentasi Lemea terhadap peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dan kolaborasi. Indikator yang paling dipengaruhi oleh PjBL bermuatan potensi lokal adalah mengevaluasi dan refleksi untuk keterampilan proses sains dan indikator fleksibilitas peran untuk keterampilan kolaborasi. Hasil tersebut sejalan dengan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan PjBL bermuatan potensi lokal dengan kategori sangat baik. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk meninjau ulang instrumen pendukung yakni angket penilaian produk, guna memastikan bahwa seluruh aspek penilaian yang digunakan dapat mengakomodir karakteristik kualitas produk yang ingin diukur The low levels of science process skills and collaboration skills of most students in Indonesia encourage efforts to implement learning that can develop these skills. One effort to improve science process skills and collaboration skills is through Project-Based Learning (PjBL) incorporating local potential. This research aims to analyze the effect of PjBL incorporating local potential on science process skills and collaboration skills in the subtopic of conventional biotechnology. The research method used a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control-group design. The research sample was class X high school students in Rejang Lebong Bengkulu consisting of 67 students determined using a purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted in two classes, namely the experimental class with PjBL learning containing the local potential of Lemea Fermentation and the control class with learning using lecture and practicum methods in groups. The research instruments were science process skills tests, collaboration questionnaires and learning observation sheets. The science process skills questions consisted of 20 multiple-choice questions. The collaboration questionnaire consisted of 30 modified statements from the Collaboration Self-Assessment Tool (CSAT). The learning observation sheets were compiled based on PjBL syntax. Data analysis used the Independent Sample T-Test and Mann–Whitney U Test. Interpretation of statistical results lead to the conclusion that there is a positive influence of PjBL containing local potential of Lemea fermentation on improving science process and collaboration skills. The indicators most influenced by PjBL containing local potential are evaluating and reflecting for science process skills and the role flexibility indicator for collaboration skills. These results are in line with the results of observations of the implementation of PjBL containing local potential which is categorized as very good.
