Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kelas kontrol non-ekuivalen (Non-equivalent Control Group Design). Subjek penelitian adalah 44 siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA di Kota Garut, dengan dua kelas yang dipilih sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tes kemampuan representasi matematis, angket self-efficacy, dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis yang signifikan antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Novick dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional, (2) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan self-efficacy yang signifikan antara siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Novick dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional, (3) tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan representasi matematis dan self-efficacy siswa, baik pada kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol. This study aims to: (1) reveal the results of statistical analysis related to the differences in improving mathematical representation abilities of students who use the Novick learning model with students who follow conventional learning, (2) reveal the results of statistical analysis related to the differences in improving self-efficacy abilities of students who use the Novick learning model with students who follow conventional learning, (3) reveal the results of statistical analysis related to the relationship between mathematical representation abilities and students' self-efficacy. The research method used is a quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects were 44 class X students at a high school in Garut City, with two classes selected as the experimental class and the control class. The instruments used consisted of a mathematical representation ability test, a self-efficacy questionnaire, and an observation sheet. The results of the study showed that: (1) there was a significant difference in the increase in mathematical representation ability between students who used the Novick learning model and students who followed conventional learning, (2) there was a significant difference in the increase in self-efficacy ability between students who used the Novick learning model and students who followed conventional learning, (3) there was no significant relationship between mathematical representation ability and students' self-efficacy, both in the experimental and control classes. %A - Rahma Nur Hawa %A - Aan Hasanah %A - Eyus Sudihartinih
