Namun pada pelaksanaannya, aktivitas belajar siswa masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penataan tempat duduk formasi chevron terhadap aktivitas belajar pada mata pelajaran IPAS siswa kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment jenis non-equivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 50 siswa, dengan 25 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 25 siswa di kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan aktivitas belajar pada kelas eksperimen setelah penerapan formasi chevron, serta perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Nilai N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori sedang, sedangkan kelas kontrol pada kategori rendah. Dengan demikian, formasi tempat duduk chevron terbukti efektif meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Student learning activity is one of the key indicators of the success of the learning process. However, in practice, student learning activity is still relatively low. This study aims to determine the effect of chevron seating arrangement on learning activity in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject of fourth-grade elementary school students. The research method employed was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of 50 students, with 25 students in the experimental class and 25 students in the control class. Data were collected using student learning activity observation sheets and analyzed using paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The results showed a significant increase in learning activity in the experimental class after the implementation of the chevron seating arrangement, as well as a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. The N-Gain value in the experimental class was in the medium category, while the control class was in the low category.
