High schools description: ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi lemahnya keterampilan sosial siswa, khususnya dalam hal kerjasama, empati dan tanggung jawab sosial. Penurunan ini mengindikasikan adanya masalah dalam proses pendidikan terutama pada aspek pembelajaran. Kompetensi pedagogik guru menjadi faktor krusial karena guru memiliki peran strategis dalam merancang, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali, menemukan fakta serta menjelaskan dan menganalisis kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran siswa berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip Ki Hadjar Dewantara guna meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Subang. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam terhadap guru mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan Sosiologi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui teknik Miles dan Huberman, mencakup kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompetensi pedagogik yang progresif dalam mengelola pembelajaran berbasis pemikiran Ki Hadjar Dewantara yang menekankan pendidikan sebagai proses penuntunan yang memerdekakan, memanusiakan, dan membudayakan. Namun demikian masih diperlukan peningkatan dalam aspek evaluasi, dokumentasi proses belajar, dan penguatan motivasi siswa dan karakter sosial siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan pelatihan pedagogik berbasis budaya, penggunaan modul ajar kontekstual dan asesmen otentik yang menyeluruh. This research is motivated by the low level of students’ social skills, particularly in aspects of collaboration, empathy, and social responsibility. This decline indicates a problem within the educational process, especially in the area of learning implementation. Teachers' pedagogical competence is a crucial factor as they play a strategic role in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning activities. The aim of this study is to analyze teachers’ pedagogical competence in managing classroom instruction based on the principles of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, with the goal of enhancing students’ social skills, especially in the dimension of gotong royong (mutual cooperation). This research adopts a qualitative approach using a case study method conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Subang. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with teachers of Civics (Pendidikan Pancasila), Islamic Religious Education, and Sociology. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that teachers demonstrate progressive pedagogical competence in managing learning inspired by Ki Hadjar Dewantara’s philosophy, which emphasizes education as a guiding process that liberates, humanizes, and cultivates learners. However, improvements are still needed in the areas of learning evaluation, process documentation, and the development of student motivation and social character.
