Orang tua memiliki peran utama sebagai panutan, motivator, dan fasilitator dalam mendukung perkembangan keterampilan sosial anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana orang tua berperan dalam menstimulasi keterampilan sosial anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melibatkan orang tua sebagai partisipan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, yang dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1). Peran orang tua sebagai panutan ditunjukkan dengan memberikan contoh perilaku baik, melibatkan anak dalam aktivitas sehari-hari, dan mengajarkan nilai-nilai sosial seperti kata maaf, terima kasih, dan tolong; (2). Sebagai motivator, orang tua menciptakan lingkungan keluarga yang mendukung, membangun komunikasi dua arah, dan memberikan kebebasan berekspresi bagi anak; (3). Sebagai fasilitator, orang tua menyediakan fasilitas seperti mainan edukatif, ruang bermain, serta mendukung minat anak dalam kegiatan tertentu; (4). Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi tantangan internal seperti tantrum anak dan ketergantungan pada gadget, serta kendala eksternal seperti keterbatasan waktu orang tua dan kurangnya teman sebaya di lingkungan sekitar; (5). Metode untuk mengatasi tantangan dilakukan melalui pendekatan komunikatif, menciptakan aktivitas yang mendukung stimulasi sosial, dan memberikan ruang kepada anak untuk berekspresi. This research is motivated by the importance of parents' roles in stimulating early childhood social skills at home. Parents play a central role as role models, motivators, and facilitators in supporting the development of children's social skills. This study aims to explain how parents contribute to stimulating the social skills of young children. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving parents as participants. Data collection techniques included interviews, analyzed thematically. The findings reveal: (1). Parents act as role models by demonstrating good behavior, involving children in daily activities, and teaching social values such as saying sorry, thank you, and please; (2). As motivators, parents create a supportive family environment, foster two-way communication, and allow children the freedom to express themselves; (3). As facilitators, parents provide resources such as educational toys, play areas, and support for children’s interests in certain activities; (4). Challenges include internal factors such as children’s tantrums and gadget dependency, as well as external factors like parents’ limited time and the lack of peers in the neighborhood; (5).
