Peneilitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konsentrasi bahan organi berupa nitrat, fosfat dan amonia sebagai indikator kualitas air muara sungai di pesisir pantai utara Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif, prngambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling, spektrofotometri serta instrumen laboratorium. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi nitrat berada pada rata-rata 2,69 mg/L, fosfat sebesar 0,28 mg/L, dan amonia berkisar antara 0,06?0,07 mg/L. Parameter fisik-kimia yang terukur meliputi suhu (rata-rata 28,83°C), pH (7,65), salinitas (25,3?), oksigen terlarut atau DO (3,2 mg/L), dan TDS (35,07 ppt. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukan keberadaan nitrat, fosfat dan amonia berbanding terbalik dengan parameter lingkungan antar stasiun. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut, status kesuburan perairan dikategorikan sebagai eutrofik atau tercemar berat akibat kandungan nutrien yang melimpah. Kondisi ini diduga kuat dipengaruhi oleh aktivitas manusia seperti pemukiman, pelabuhan, serta pembuangan limbah domestik dan industri. The northern coastal area of Serang City is a coastal region that serves as the confluence of several rivers in Banten Province, making it an area vulnerable to the accumulation of organic materials such as nitrates, phosphates, and ammonia due to anthropogenic activities from the land. This research aims to analyze the concentration of organic materials such as nitrates, phosphates, and ammonia as indicators of water quality at the river estuaries on the northern coast of Serang City. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method, with purposive sampling, spectrophotometry, and laboratory instruments for sample collection. The analysis results show that the nitrate concentration averages 2.69 mg/L, phosphate 0.28 mg/L, and ammonia ranges from 0.06 to 0.07 mg/L. The measured physicochemical parameters include temperature (average 28.83°C), pH (7.65), salinity (25.3?), dissolved oxygen or DO (3.2 mg/L), and TDS (35.07 ppt). The correlation analysis results indicate that the presence of nitrate, phosphate, and ammonia is inversely related to environmental parameters between stations. Based on these values, the status of water fertility is categorized as eutrophic or heavily polluted due to the abundant nutrient content. This condition is strongly suspected to be influenced by human activities such as settlements, ports, and the disposal of domestic and industrial waste. ER -
