N2  - Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode simak catat yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan tindak tutur ekspresif dalam video Press Conference Min Hee-jin 25 april 2024. Analisis berfokus pada apa jenis tindak tutur ekspresif dan bagaimana konteks dan makna tindak tutur ekspresif yang di tuturkan oleh Min Hee-jin selama konferensi pers tersebut. Dari 154 data tindak tutur ekspresif yang ditemukan, hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa tindak tutur ekspresif mengkritik paling banyak diutarakan oleh Min Hee Jin. Selain itu juga, tindak tutur ekspresif bersedih dan meminta maaf juga cukup banyak diutarakan Min Hee-jin. Varian bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif ini mencerminkan kompleksitas emosi dan sikap yang disampaikan oleh Min Hee-jin dalam konteks komunikasi formal. Kesimpulannya, tindak tutur ekspresif memiliki fungsi signifikan dalam mengkomunikasikan perasaan sekaligus mengelola hubungan sosial dalam konferensi pers. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi sumbangsih akademis bagi penelitian bahasa dan praktisi komunikasi dalam memahami ekspresi verbal pada komunikasi formal, serta menjadi pijakan pengembangan bahan ajar pragmatik.
In the 21st century, freedom of speech is one of the important aspects of society. Every individual in society has the fundamental right to freedom of opinion, by expressing their opinions, ideas, beliefs, and feelings without fear of punishment from authorities. Freedom of speech has impacts from a linguistic perspective, both positive and negative. This research employs a qualitative approach with an observational note-taking method aimed at describing expressive speech acts in Min Hee-jin's Press Conference video on April 25, 2024. The analysis focuses on the forms and meanings of expressive speech acts uttered by Min Hee-jin during the press conference. From 154 expressive speech act data found, the analysis results show that expressive speech acts of criticism were most frequently expressed by Min Hee-jin. Additionally, expressive speech acts of sadness and apology were also quite frequently expressed by Min Hee-jin. The variant forms of these expressive speech acts reflect the complexity of emotions and attitudes conveyed by Min Hee-jin in the context of formal communication. In conclusion, expressive speech acts have significant functions in communicating feelings while managing social relationships in press conferences. This research is expected to contribute academically to language research and communication practitioners in understanding verbal expressions in formal communication, as well as serve as a foundation for developing pragmatic teaching materials.
