Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest dan teknik sampling jenuh (30 siswa). Permainan ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar melalui aktivitas fisik seperti melompat, berlari, melempar, dan menangkap. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2), yang mengukur keterampilan lokomotor dan kontrol-objek. Analisis statistik membandingkan hasil pretest dan posttest untuk melihat peningkatan keterampilan motorik kasar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest adalah 61,57, meningkat menjadi 89,40 pada posttest. Uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal (p > 0,05). Hasil Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara pretest dan posttest (Sig. 0,000), dengan uji R-Square mengindikasikan bahwa permainan ular tangga berkontribusi sebesar 65,3% terhadap peningkatan keterampilan motorik kasar siswa. Dengan demikian, permainan ular tangga terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar siswa serta memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan. Hasil penelitian ini juga mendukung penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis permainan sebagai salah satu strategi yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan motorik kasar secara optimal di lingkungan sekolah dasar. This study aims to analyze the effect of snakes and ladders game on gross motor skills of fourth grade students at SDN Cantel, Cicalengka. The research method used is quantitative with one-group pretest-posttest design and saturated sampling technique (30 students). This game is designed to improve gross motor skills through physical activities such as jumping, running, throwing, and catching. Measurements were made using the Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD- 2), which measures locomotor and object-control skills. Statistical analysis compared the results of the pretest and posttest to see the improvement in students' gross motor skills. The results showed that the average pretest score was 61.57, increasing to 89.40 in the posttest. The Shapiro-Wilk normality test showed that the data was normally distributed (p> 0.05). The results of the Paired Sample T-Test showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest (Sig. 0.000), with the R-Square test indicating that the snakes and ladders game contributed 65.3% to the improvement of students' gross motor skills. Thus, the snakes and ladders game is proven to be effective in improving students' gross motor skills and providing a fun learning experience. The results of this study also support the implementation of game-based learning methods as one of the strategies that can improve gross motor skills optimally in elementary school environments.
