High schools description: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya peran ayah dalam pengasuhan, yang berpotensi memengaruhi interaksi sosial peserta didik dengan teman sebayanya. Hal ini terlihat dari sikap pasif, menarik diri, dan kurangnya kepercayaan diri yang ditunjukkan oleh peserta didik. Sikap-sikap tersebut dapat dihubungkan dengan ketidakhadiran peran ayah, baik secara fisik, emosional, maupun psikologis, yang dikenal sebagai fenomena fatherless. Penelitian ini berfokus pada dampak fenomena fatherless terhadap interaksi sosial peserta didik. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) tingkatan fatherless peserta didik, (2) tingkatan interaksi sosial peserta didik, dan (3) pengaruh fatherless terhadap interaksi sosial peserta didik di SMP Negeri 4 Tambun Utara Kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 90 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tingkatan fatherless peserta didik berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 65,6% yang berarti keterlibatan peran ayah masih kurang kuat dirasakan oleh peserta didik, (2) tingkatan interaksi sosial peserta didik juga berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 62,2% yang berarti proses interaksi sosial peserta didik masih kurang kuat terjalin, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara fatherless terhadap interaksi sosial, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, koefisien regresi sebesar 0,291, dan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 25,9%. Pengaruh antara fatherless dan interaksi sosial bersifat negatif, yang berarti bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat fatherless, maka semakin rendah tingkat interaksi sosial peserta didiknya. This research is motivated by the minimal role of fathers in parenting, which potentially affects students' social interactions with their peers. This is evident from the passive attitudes, withdrawal, and lack of self-confidence shown by the students. These attitudes can be linked to the absence of the father's role, either physically, emotionally, or psychologically, known as the fatherless phenomenon. This research focuses on the impact of the fatherless phenomenon on students' social interactions. Therefore, this study aims to identify (1) the level of students' fatherlessness, (2) the level of students' social interactions, and (3) the influence of fatherlessness on students' social interactions at SMP Negeri 4 Tambun Utara, Bekasi Regency. This study employs a quantitative approach with correlation methods. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling with a total of 90 student respondents. The research results show that (1) the level of fatherlessness among students is in the moderate category with a percentage of 65.6%, which means the involvement of the father's role is still felt to be weak by the students, (2) the level of social interaction among students is also in the moderate category with a percentage of 62.2%, indicating that the process of social interaction among students is still weakly established, and (3) there is a significant influence of fatherlessness on social interaction, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, a regression coefficient of 0.291, and a contribution of 25.9%.
