Program Tahfidz di SD Daarut Tauhiid tidak hanya difokuskan pada kognitif dan kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur’an, tetapi juga diarahkan untuk membentuk karakter siswa yang bertanggung jawab, mandiri, dan mencintai Al-Qur’an sebagai pedoman hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan program Tahfidz Al-Qur’an, upaya-upaya yang dilakukan program tahfidz Al-Qur’an dalam pembentukan karakter mandiri di SD Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh adanya program unggulan tahfidz Al-Qur’an di SD dan pembentukan karakter mandiri sejak usia sekolah dasar sebagai bagian dari implementasi Penguatan Projek Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi, yang mengungkap pengalaman siswa melalui teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari lima siswa kelas tinggi, wali kelas, dan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program Tahfidz berlangsung secara sistematis dan terintegrasi dalam kurikulum sekolah, dengan metode SABIQ (sabar dan istiqamah). Profil karakter mandiri siswa yang tergambar mencakup kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah, percaya diri, mengambil keputusan, serta beraktivitas tanpa bergantung pada orang lain. Karakter mandiri ini terbentuk melalui proses pembiasaan, pembinaan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai Islam, serta keterlibatan aktif dari seluruh elemen sekolah dan keluarga. The development of Indonesian education has presented a flagship program to shape students' character. The Tahfidz program at Daarut Tauhiid Elementary School is not only focused on cognitive and Quran memorization skills, but is also directed at shaping students' characters to be responsible, independent, and love the Quran as a guide to life. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Tahfidz Al-Quran program, the efforts made by the Tahfidz Al-Quran program in shaping independent character at Daarut Tauhiid Elementary School, Bandung. The background of this study is based on the existence of a flagship Tahfidz Al-Quran program in elementary schools and the formation of independent character since elementary school age as part of the implementation of the Strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile Project in the Independent Curriculum. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, which reveals students' experiences through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of five high-grade students, the homeroom teacher, and the vice principal for curriculum. The research results show that the Tahfidz program was implemented systematically and integrated into the school curriculum, using the SABIQ (patience and steadfastness) method. The students' independent character profile depicted includes the ability to solve problems, be confident, make decisions, and engage in activities independently.
