Metode ex post facto merupakan teknik kuantitatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, angket, tes, dan wawancara. Siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Sumedang yang telah mempelajari materi bentuk aljabar menjadi sampel penelitian. Dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,029 {\ensuremath{<}} {\ensuremath{\alpha}} = 0,05 dan t\_hitung = 2,282 {\ensuremath{>}} t\_tabel = 1,69389, temuan analisis menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara keaktifan belajar siswa dan hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa cenderung meningkat jika mereka lebih aktif berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Menurut penelitian ini, pendidik harus meningkatkan metode pembelajaran yang mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa dan fokus pada faktor internal dan eksternal yang memengaruhi hasil belajar matematika mereka. Disarankan agar dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengkaji keterkaitan antara indikator keaktifan belajar siswa secara menyeluruh dan menerapkan intervensi model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan kreatif. Junior high school students frequently struggle to understand algebraic forms, which leads to low learning outcomes in mathematics. Another factor contributing to this issue is the lack of student participation in the learning process. This study aims to investigate the relationship between students' learning activeness and their learning outcomes in algebraic forms. The ex post facto method is a quantitative technique used in this study. Methods for gathering data include observation, questionnaires, testing, and interviews. Students in the seventh grade who had studied algebraic forms at a Sumedang public junior high school made up the research sample. With a significance value of 0.029 {\ensuremath{<}} {\ensuremath{\alpha}} = 0.05 and t\_count = 2,282 {\ensuremath{>}} t\_table = 1,69389, the analysis' findings demonstrated a positive and significant correlation between students' learning activeness and mathematics learning outcomes. This research suggests that students' learning outcomes are more likely to improve the more actively they participate in their learning process. According to this study, educators should enhance teaching methods that promote active student participation and focus on both internal and external factors that affect students' learning outcomes in mathematics.
