Respon siswa terhadap perundungan menjadi aspek penting yang perlu dikaji lebih dalam. Assertiveness training menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam membantu remaja mengembangkan kemampuan berkomunikasi efektif, menghadapi konflik dengan cara yang sehat, dan meningkatkan kesadaran sosial mereka. Pembelajaran IPS memiliki peran penting dalam mengintegrasikan kemampuan sosial dengan isu sosial yang ada di lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pelatihan asertif terhadap perilaku anti-bullying siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pra-eksperimental (one group pretest-posttest design). Responden penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VII E di salah satu SMP Negeri kota Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data memakai angket asertivitas, angket perilaku anti-bullying dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan uji effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) uji paired sample t-test adalah 0,000<0,05 artinya terdapat perubahan perilaku anti-bullying siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan assertiveness training. Hasil uji effect size bernilai 0,83 yang bermakna bahwa assertiveness training berpengaruh besar terhadap perilaku anti-bullying siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan asertif memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan perilaku anti-bullying siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS. The prevalence of bullying cases among students, especially at the junior high school level, is the background of this study. Students’ responses to bullying are an important aspect that needs to be examined more deeply. Assertiveness training is an effective strategy in helping adolescents develop effective communication skills, deal with conflicts in a healthy way, and increase their social awareness. Social Studies plays a vital role in integrating social skills with social issues found in the surrounding environment. This study aims to examine the effect of assertiveness training on students’ anti-bullying behavior in Social Studies learning. The researcher used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method (one group pretest-posttest design). The respondents were students of class VII E at a public junior high school in Bandung. Data collection techniques included assertiveness and anti-bullying behavior questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the paired sample t-test and effect size test. The results showed that the significance value (2-tailed) of the paired sample t-test was 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a change in students’ anti-bullying behavior before and after the assertiveness training. The effect size result was 0.83, which means that assertiveness training had a large influence on students' anti-bullying behavior.
