Terdapat aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa Jepang bernama "Poro Japanese Vocabulary". Aplikasi ini dapat digunakan pembelajar untuk belajar bahasa Jepang. Dapat diakses secara mandiri, sehingga memudahkan pembelajar menghafal kosakata baru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman kosakata bahasa Jepang pada pembelajar setelah menggunakan aplikasi Poro Japanese Vocabulary. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimental kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan kepada mahasiswa kelas 2B PBJ UPI. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes dan angket. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan analisis statistik komparasional, membandingkan nilai pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen, sebelum dan setelah diberikan treatment. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest setelah diberikan treatment. Kesimpulan dari hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa responden menyatakan bahwa aplikasi Poro Japanese Vocabulary mudah digunakan, menarik, mudah diakses serta hampir tidak ada kendala. Hal ini dikarenakan responden merasa aplikasi Poro Japanese Vocabulary memiliki banyak kelebihan. Responden terbantu dan tertarik dengan fitur-fitur yang disediakan. Vocabulary mastery is very important for Japanese learners, but sometimes because the number of vocabulary that must be mastered is very large, learners have difficulty remembering the vocabulary in a short time. There is a Japanese language learning application called 'Poro Japanese Vocabulary'. This application can be used by learners to learn Japanese. It can be accessed independently, making it easier for learners to memorise new vocabulary. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of Japanese vocabulary comprehension ability of learners after using Poro Japanese Vocabulary application. This research uses quantitative experimental research. The research was conducted on PBJ UPI class 2B students. The research instruments used tests and questionnaires. The data processing technique used comparational statistical analysis, comparing the pretest and posttest scores of the experimental class, before and after treatment. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores after treatment. The conclusion from the questionnaire results shows that respondents stated that the Poro Japanese Vocabulary application is easy to use, interesting, easy to access and has almost no obstacles. This is because respondents feel that the Poro Japanese Vocabulary application has many advantages.
