Prestasi akademik merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan \r\npendidikan yang mencerminkan kemampuan intelektual dan usaha belajar \r\nmahasiswa. Sementara itu, sikap caring menjadi elemen penting dalam profesi \r\nkeperawatan, karena berperan dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang \r\nholistik \r\ndan \r\nberkualitas. \r\nMahasiswa \r\nkeperawatan \r\ndituntut \r\nuntuk \r\nmengimplementasikan dan menumbuhkan sikap caring sejak proses pembelajaran. \r\nTujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis hubungan antara prestasi akademik \r\ndengan sikap caring mahasiswa program profesi Ners. Metode penelitian ini \r\nmenggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Data \r\ndikumpulkan melalui kuesioner sikap caring CBI-42 yang dikembangkan \r\nberdasarkan teori Jean Watson dan nilai indeks prestasi kumulatif (IPK) \r\nmahasiswa sebagai representasi prestasi akademik. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari \r\n47 mahasiswa program profesi Ners Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Kampus \r\nSumedang, yang dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Hasil uji statistik dengan \r\nmenggunakan Uji Chi-Square dengan uji Continuity Correction diperoleh nilai \r\np=0,460 menunjukan nilai p>0,05 maka H0 diterima dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) \r\nditolak, yang berarti tidak ada hubungan antara prestasi akademik dengan sikap \r\ncaring pada mahasiswa Ners di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia kampus \r\nSumedang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini berarti tidak ada hubungan antara \r\nprestasi akademik dengan sikap caring pada mahasiswa Ners di Universitas \r\nPendidikan Indonesia kampus Sumedang.\r\nBackground. Academic achievement is an indicator of educational success that \r\nreflects students' intellectual abilities and learning efforts. Meanwhile, a caring \r\nattitude is an important element in the nursing profession, because it plays a role \r\nin providing holistic and quality health services. Nursing students are required to \r\nimplement and foster a caring attitude since the learning process. This research \r\naims to analyze the relationship between academic achievement and the caring \r\nattitude of students in the Nursing professional program. Method uses this \r\nresearch a quantitative design with a correlational approach. Data was collected \r\nthrough the CBI-42 caring attitude questionnaire which was developed based on \r\nJean Watson's theory and students' cumulative achievement index (GPA) as a \r\nrepresentation of academic achievement. The research sample consisted of 47 \r\nstudents from the Ners profession program at the Indonesian Education \r\nUniversity, Sumedang Campus, who were selected using a total sampling \r\ntechnique. The results of statistical tests using the Chi-Square Test with the \r\nContinuity Correction test obtained a value of p=0.460, indicating a value of \r\np>0.05, so H0 was accepted and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was rejected, \r\nwhich means there is no relationship between academic achievement and caring \r\nattitudes in nursing students. at the Indonesian University of Education, \r\nSumedang campus.
