abstract: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penerimaan orang tua dengan kesejahteraan anak cerebral palsy di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan partisipan sebanyak 96 orang tua dan 96 anak cerebral palsy yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang mengukur tingkat penerimaan orang tua dan kesejahteraan anak, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji korelasi Spearman menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara penerimaan orang tua dan kesejahteraan anak cerebral palsy (r = 0,206; p = 0,044). Namun, kekuatan korelasi tergolong lemah, yang menunjukkan bahwa faktor lain seperti dukungan sosial dan akses terhadap terapi juga berperan dalam kesejahteraan anak. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya intervensi yang mendukung penerimaan orang tua, seperti edukasi dan pendampingan psikososial, untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih positif dan suportif bagi anak cerebral palsy.

This study is a quantitative research using a correlational approach aimed at examining the relationship between parental acceptance and the well-being of children with cerebral palsy in Bandung City. The study employed a survey method involving 96 parents and 96 children with cerebral palsy, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires that measured parental acceptance and child well-being, and were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test with SPSS. The results indicated a positive and significant relationship between parental acceptance and the well-being of children with cerebral palsy (r = 0.206; p = 0.044). However, the strength of the correlation was weak, suggesting that other factors, such as social support and access to therapy, also contribute to the children's well-being. These findings emphasize the importance of interventions that support parental acceptance, such as educational programs and psychosocial assistance, in creating a more positive and supportive environment for children with cerebral palsy.
