Pengembangan instrumen growth mindset yang dikembangkan di Indonesia masih sedikit dan berbeda-beda dimensi yang dijadikan konstruknya sehingga mendorong peneliti melakukan pengembangan instrumen growth mindset dengan enam dimensi yang dikembangkan Chen, et al. (2021) yang terbukti valid. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan hasil uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan uji norma dari konstruk instrumen yang telah dikembangkan. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 576 orang peserta didik kelas X sekolah menengah atas dari SMAN 6 Bandung dan SMAN 15 Bandung menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Proses pengembangan instrumen dilakukan dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan uji kelayakan melalui judgement oleh dosen ahli dan uji keterbacaan yang dilakukan kepada lima orang peserta didik kelas X di SMA Kartika. Kemudian dilakukan revisi dari hasil judgement dan uji keterbacaan. Setelah revisi dilakukan, peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data. Data yang terkumpul diolah menggunakan rasch model. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan lima puluh tiga pernyataan dari enam puluh delapan yang diuji dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan berdasarkan uji unidimensionality, rating scale, dan misfit order. Adapun hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan instrumen growth mindset yang dikembangkan reliabel dengan nilai alpha cronbach termasuk kategori bagus sekali; nilai person reliability termasuk kategori bagus sekali; dan nilai item reability termasuk kategori istimewa. Adapun hasil uji norma menemukan hasil skor mentah instrumen growth mindset dibagi menjadi empat kategori yaitu fixed mindset, fixed with growth mindset, growth with fixed mindset, dan growth mindset. Temuan dari penelitian adalah instrumen growth mindset untuk peserta didik sekolah menengah atas yang telah baku. Rekomendasi bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk menguji validitas instrumen kepada kelas yang berbeda di sekolah menengah atas dan menguji validitas kepada sampel yang lebih besar. The research is based on PISA 2018 data published in the OECD 2021 report, which found that more than two-thirds of Indonesian students exhibit a fixed mindset. The development of growth mindset instruments in Indonesia is still limited and varies in the dimensions used as constructs, prompting the researcher to develop a growth mindset instrument using the six dimensions developed by Chen et al. (2021), which have been proven valid. The purpose of the research is to describe the results of validity, reliability, and norm testing of the constructed instrument. The research participants were 576 tenth-grade high school students from SMAN 6 Bandung and SMAN 15 Bandung, selected using a convenience sampling technique. The instrument development process was carried out by first conducting a feasibility test through expert judgment by lecturers and a readability test conducted with five tenth-grade students at SMA Kartika. Revisions were made based on the results of the judgment and readability tests. After revisions, data collection was performed. The collected data were analyzed using the Rasch model. The validity test results showed that fifty-three out of sixty-eight statements tested were valid and usable based on unidimensionality, rating scale, and misfit order tests. The reliability test results indicated that the developed growth mindset instrument is reliable, with Cronbach's alpha value in the excellent category, the person reliability value in the excellent category, and the item reliability value in the extraordinary category. The norm test results showed that the raw scores of the growth mindset instrument were divided into four categories: fixed mindset, fixed with growth mindset, growth with fixed mindset, and growth mindset. The findings of the study indicate that the growth mindset instrument for high school students has been standardized.
