Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pendidikan karakter berbasis mombowa tumpe yang fokus pada pengembangan karakter amanah peserta didik Sekolah Dasar. Model pendidikan karakter Tumpe merupakan metode yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dan agama, dalam proses pendidikan dapat membentuk karakter peserta didik yang jujur, bertanggngjawab dan dapat dipercaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tiga satuan pendidikan dasar yang masing-masing berada di Kecamatan Luwuk, Moilong dan Batui Selatan. Penelitian ini berhasil mendeskripsikan secara etnografi nilai-nilai karakter amanah (jujur, bertanggungjawab dan dapat dipercaya) yang dapat dikembangkan dalam proses pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Dasar. Desain model yang disebut dengan TUMPE (Trust, Undestanding, Modelling,Persistence dan Evaluation). Desain model pendidikan karakter ini dapat diterapkan di Sekolah Dasar yang melibatkan guru, orang tua dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini dapat mengembangkan karakter amanah (jujur, bertanggung jawab, menepati janji) dapat dilihat dari sikap peserta didik yang tidak mencontek saat ujian, mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan guru maupun orang tua, menepati janji jika berjanji baik kepada teman, guru maupun orang tua. Secara umum karakter amanah nampak juga pada upaya masyarakat khususnya masyarakat adat Batui dalam melestarikan budaya serta konservasi burung Maleo. Model pendidikan karakter Tumpe efektif dalam mengembangkan karakter amanah di Sekolah Dasar. Model pendidikan karakter ini, dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif untuk mengembangkan karakter amanah peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar. This research aims to produce a mombowa tumpe-based character education model that focuses on developing the trustworthy character of elementary school students. Tumpe character education model is a method that integrates the values of local wisdom and religion, in the education process can form the character of students who are honest, responsible and trustworthy. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). Data collection techniques in this study were observation and interviews. The data analysis used was qualitative and quantitative. The research was conducted in three primary education units in Luwuk, Moilong and Batui Selatan sub-districts. This research succeeded in ethnographically describing trustworthy character values (honest, responsible and trustworthy) that can be developed in the character education process in elementary schools. The model design is called TUMPE (Trust, Undestanding, Modeling, Persistence and Evaluation). This character education model design can be implemented in elementary schools involving teachers, parents and the community. This research can develop the character of trustworthiness (honesty, responsibility, keeping promises) can be seen from the attitude of students who do not cheat on exams, do the tasks given by teachers and parents, keep promises if they promise both to friends, teachers and parents. In general, trustworthy character can also be seen in the efforts of the community, especially the Batui indigenous people in preserving the culture and conservation of Maleo birds. The Tumpe character education model is effective in developing trustworthy character in elementary schools. This character education model can be used as an alternative to develop the trustworthy character of students in elementary schools.
