Sehingga peneliti melakukan pengembangan video animasi berbasis powtoon untuk memfasilitasi keaksaraan anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan metode EDR (Educational Design Research). Peneliti memulai dengan analisis dan eksplorasi; desain dan kontruksi; evaluasi dan refleksi; dan kelayakan produk. Pada penelitian ini berdasarkan saran dari validator dan dilakukan uji coba produk sebanyak dua kalia secara uji terbatas dan skala luas. Berdasarkan data uji coba efektifitas video animasi berbasis powtoon untuk memfasilitasi keaksaraan anak usia dini memperoleh kenaikan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari data uji coba, produk video animasi berbasis powtoon untuk memfasilitasi keaksaraan anak usia dini telah berhasil dikembangkan dan memenuhi kreateria efektif yang seusai untuk digunakan kepada anak usia dini.    This research is based on problems found in the field regarding the lack of efforts to facilitate early childhood literacy. Technological developments in the digital era have had a significant impact, especially in the field of education. In facing modern learning challenges, educators need to develop innovative learning methods by utilizing technology which aims to make the learning process in the classroom more friendly and varied. So the researchers developed a PowerPoint-based animated video to facilitate early childhood literacy. The research uses the EDR (Educational Design Research) method. The researcher begins analysis and exploration; design and construction; evaluation and reflection; and product suitability. In this research, based on suggestions from validators and product trials were carried out twice, on a limited and wide scale. Based on trial data, the effectiveness of Powtoon-based animated videos in facilitating early childhood literacy has increased significantly. Based on the results of analysis of trial data, a PowerPoint- based animated video product to facilitate early childhood literacy has been successfully developed and meets the criteria for effectiveness that is suitable for use with early childhood children.
