Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui fasilitas internet berupa situs resmi Direktorat Jenderal Perimbangan Keuangan dan Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Jawa Barat. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pemerintah daerah di Provinsi Jawa Barat pada tahun 2018-2022 yang terdiri dari 27 pemerintah daerah kabupaten/kota. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sensus, yaitu menggunakan semua anggota populasi sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dan analisis regresi variabel moderasi melalui Eviews 12. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pada tahun anggaran 2018-2022 Provinsi Jawa Barat memiliki nilai rata-rata rasio Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) sebesar 22,74% dengan kondisi fluktuatif yang cenderung meningkat, nilai rata-rata rasio belanja modal sebesar 15,45% dengan kondisi fluktuatif yang cenderung menurun, nilai rata-rata rasio kemandirian keuangan daerah sebesar 27,62% dengan kondisi fluktuatif yang cenderung menurun, dan nilai rata-rata rasio pertumbuhan ekonomi adalah sebesar 3,71% dengan kondisi fluktuatif yang cenderung menurun; 2) Pendapatan asli daerah berpengaruh positif terhadap kemandirian keuangan daerah; 3) Belanja modal berpengaruh positif terhadap kemandirian keuangan daerah; 4) Pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak memoderasi pengaruh pendapatan asli daerah terhadap kemandirian keuangan daerah; dan 5) Pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak memoderasi pengaruh belanja modal terhadap kemandirian keuangan daerah. This study aims to determine the effect of local own-source revenue and capital expenditure on regional financial independence with economic growth as a moderating variable. The research method used is descriptive verification with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used is a documentation study. This study uses secondary data obtained through internet facilities in the form of the official website of the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance and the Central Bureau of Statistics of West Java Province. The population in this study were all local governments in West Java Province in 2018-2022 consisting of 27 district/city local governments. The sampling technique used is a census, which uses all population members as a research sample. Hypothesis testing was done using panel data regression analysis and moderation variable regression analysis through Eviews 12.
