Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. Studi literatur merupakan suatu studi deskriptif untuk menghimpun informasi yang relevan dengan topik penelitian yang diteliti untuk dikumpulkan dan dimanfaatkan. Berdasarkan literatur-literatur yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan learning obstacles (hambatan belajar) seperti hambatan epistimologi (epistemological obstacles), hambatan ontogenik (ontogenic obstacles), dan hambatan didaktik (didactical obstacles) yang dialami oleh siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) pada pembelajaran materi segitiga dan segiempat. This study aims to identify learning obstacles of Junior High School students in learning quadrilaterals and triangles. The method used in this study is literature study. Literature study is a descriptive study to collect relevant information to the research topic being studied to be collected and utilized.
