Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi apakah ekspresi pemimpin pujian dan produksi suara yang dihasilkan oleh sound system berpengaruh terhadap partisipasi jemaat, khususnya remaja dan pemuda. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menganalisis aransemen lagu “Murnikanku” yang digunakan pada Ibadah Kontemporer ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa musik pada ibadah kontemporer memiliki peran penting dalam menciptakan suasana ibadah yang inklusif dan menarik bagi jemaat muda, serta meningkatkan kreativitas dan inovasi dalam peribadatan. Namun, penurunan jumlah jemaat muda juga disebabkan oleh kurangnya pembinaan terhadap pemimpin pujian dan ketertinggalan teknologi sound system yang digunakan.    This thesis is entitled “MUSIC IN THE CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP OF THE IMMANUEL CHRISTIAN CHURCH JEMAAT SARON CIREBON.” This research examines music in contemporary worship at Immanuel Christian Church Saron Cirebon. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate whether the expression of the worship leader and the sound production produced by the sound system affect the participation of the congregation, especially teenagers and youth. In addition, this study also analyzed the arrangement of the song “Murnikanku” used in this Contemporary Worship. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data analysis obtained through interviews and observations. The results show that music in contemporary worship has an important role in creating an inclusive and attractive worship atmosphere for young congregants, as well as increasing creativity and innovation in worship. However, the decline in the number of young congregants is also caused by the lack of guidance for worship leaders and the backwardness of the sound system technology used.
