abstract: Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai kinerja karyawan di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah Kota Sukabumi belum tercapai secara optimal. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 (dua) variabel, yaitu Pengelolaan Arsip dan Kinerja Karyawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran Pengelolaan arsip, gambaran kinerja karyawan  dan untuk mengetahui  pengaruh pengeloaan arsip  terhadap kinerja karyawan di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah Kota Sukabumi.
Hasil pengolahan data menunjukan bahwa gambaran tingkat pengelolaan arsip berada pada kriteria baik/efektif, dan gambaran kinerja karyawan  berada pada kriteria sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis di peroleh bahwa pengelolaan arsip memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.
Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan Arsip, Kinerja karyawan.

The problem studied in this research is that the effectiveness of employee performance at the Sukabumi City Regional Library and Archives Service has not been achieved optimally. This research consists of 2 (two) variables, namely Records Management and Employee Performance. The aim of this research is to find out a picture of archive management, a picture of employee performance and to find out the effect of archive management on employee performance at the Sukabumi City Regional Library and Archives Service.
The results of data processing show that the description of the level of records management is in the good/effective criteria, and the description of employee performance is in the very high criteria. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that archive management has a positive and significant influence on employee performance.
