Motorik kasar merupakan kemampuan anak melakukan gerakan yang melibatkan otot besar seperti badan, lengan, dan kaki. Gerakan motorik kasar seperti merangkak, berjalan, dan melompat adalah contohnya. Bermain merupakan salah satu cara terbaik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak. Pembelajaran anak identik dengan bermain sambil belajar, karena setiap pelajaran dilakukan melalui bermain, sehingga pembelajaran dilakukan dengan cara yang menyenangkan dan penuh dengan permainan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan edu playmat dan stimulasi kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui alat permainan edu playmat. Alat permainan edukatif dirancang khusus untuk memberikan stimulasi yang optimal, membantu anak bermain sambil belajar. Permainan playmat dirancang untuk menstimulasi kemampuan motorik kasar anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pra eksperimen dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement dan evaluate). Hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya alat permainan edu playmat, yang menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan bermain permainan edu playmat mampu menstimulasi kemampuan motorik kasar anak. Alat permainan edu playmat ini dilengkapi dengan buku panduan, maka dari itu apabila guru kelas ingin menggunakan permainan ini tidak akan merasa kesulitan dan kebingungan untuk bermain alat permainan edu playmat. Educational game tools can help children's gross motor development. Gross motor skills are a child's ability to make movements that involve large muscles such as the body, arms and legs. Gross motor movements such as crawling, walking, and jumping are examples. Playing is one of the best ways to improve children's gross motor skills. Children's learning is synonymous with playing while learning, because every lesson is done through play, so learning is done in a fun way and full of games. The aim of this research is to determine the process of developing edu playmats and stimulating the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years through edu playmat games. Educational game tools are specifically designed to provide optimal stimulation, helping children play while learning. Playmat games are designed to stimulate children's gross motor skills. This research uses a pre-experimental approach with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement dan evaluate). The pretest and posttest results showed that there was a significant difference between before and after the implementation of the EDU Playmat game tool, which shows that the activity of playing EDU Playmat games is able to stimulate children's gross motor skills.
