abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja lingkungan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel intervening. Populasi penelitian ini adalah Perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2020-2022 dan mengikuti peringkat PROPER. Metode purposive sampling digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan jumlah sampel 50 perusahaan. Penelitian ini mengunakan data time series dan cross section yaitu laporan tahunan Perusahaan selama 2019-2021, sehingga total data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 150 data. Data analisis mengunakan metode analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (i) kinerja lingkungan berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas; (ii) profitabilitas berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan; (iii) kinerja lingkungan berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahan; dan (iv) kinerja lingkungan terhadap nilai perusahaan melalui profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh.

This research aims to determine the effect of environmental performance on company value with profitability as an intervening variable. The population of this research is companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period and following the PROPER ranking. The purposive sampling method was used in this research with a sample size of 50 companies. This research uses time series and cross section data, namely the company's annual report for 2019-2021, so the total data used in this research is 150 data. Data analysis uses path analysis methods. This research shows that (i) environmental performance has a positive effect on profitability; (ii) profitability has a positive effect on company value; (iii) environmental performance has a positive effect on company value; and (iv) environmental performance does not affect company value through profitability.
