N2  - Kepercayaan diri adalah hal yang dapat mendukung anak dalam proses belajar dan 
dapat dikembangkan sejak dini melalui proses pembelajaran. Anak membutuhkan kepercayaan diri 
yang baik dalam aspek tingkah laku dan emosi. Salah satu dari metode pembelajaran yang dapat 
menstimulasi kepercayaan diri anak usia dini adalah metode show and tell. Show and tell ialah 
aktivitas dimana peserta didik maju ke depan kelas guna memperlihatkan hasil karyanya dan 
bercerita kepada teman-temannya terkait dengan hasil karyanya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk 
mengkaji dan menggambarkan upaya pengembangan kepercayaan diri AUD melalui kegiatan show 
and tell. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik 
pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara dengan dua orang guru kelas. Teknik analisis 
data menggunakan model interaktif dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik 
kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan show and tell dapat membantu anak 
usia 5-6 tahun mengembangkan kepercayaan dirinya pada aspek tingkah laku dan emosi. Tahapan 
pelaksanaan kegiatan show and tell terdiri dari mempersilahkan anak untuk maju dan melakukan 
show and tell tanpa bantuan, dan terakhir memberikan pertanyaan kepada anak. Dengan demikian 
kegiatan show and tell mengimplikasikan dampak yang positif terhadap kepercayaan diri anak usia 
dini. 

Confidence is something that can support children's learning process and can be 
developed from an early age through the learning process. Children need good self-confidence in 
both behavioral and emotional aspects. One of the learning methods that can stimulate self?confidence in early childhood is the show and tell method. One of the learning methods that can 
stimulate the confidence of early childhood is the show and tell method. The goal of this research is 
to examine and describe efforts to develop the confidence of early childhood through show and tell 
activities. The current research uses a descriptive methodology paired with a qualitative approach. 
Method of gathering data consist of observation and interviews with two classroom teachers. An 
interactive model including steps for data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing is 
uses in data analysis approaches. The final results show that show and tell activities can help children 
aged 5-6 years develop their confidence. The stages of implementing show and tell activities consist 
of allowing the child to come forward and perform the show and tell without assistance, and 
finally, asking the child questions.Thus, show and tell activities imply a positive impact on the 
confidence of early childhood.
