%X Cinta tanah air penting ditanamkan pada siswa baik dalam pembelajaran di sekolah maupun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari agar siswa terhindar dari penyimpangan sosial. Saat ini cinta tanah air pada siswa mengalami penurunan yang disebabkan oleh perkembangan zaman dan teknologi yang sangat beragam, salah satunya berdampak pada siswa SMPN 29 Bandung. Ekstrakurikuler pramuka menjadi salah satu wadah untuk menanamkan cinta tanah air kepada siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat partisipasi siswa, mengidentifikasi program, tantangan, hambatan serta upaya yang dilakukan untuk membentuk sikap cinta tanah air dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka di SMP Negeri 29 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan, yaitu metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah wakil kepala sekolah, pelatih dan pembina pramuka, pakar ahli di bidang kepramukaan, serta siswa sebagai anggota pramuka. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan bahwa tingkat partisipasi siswa mengalami penurunan pada 3 tahun sebelumnya, walaupun demikian program serta upaya tetap ditingkatkan oleh pihak sekolah untuk membentuk sikap cinta tanah air pada siswa. Meskipun kurangnya tingkat partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka, akan tetapi anggota pramuka yang konsisten ini menjadi pengaruh, penggerak, serta menjadi dinamisator yang dapat mempengaruhi dalam hal positif untuk menjadi teladan kepada adik kelas maupun teman-teman sebayanya.    It is important to instill love for the motherland in students both in learning at school and in everyday life so that students avoid social deviations. At present, students' love for the motherland has decreased due to the development of the times and various technologies, one of which has an impact on students at SMPN 29 Bandung. Scout extracurricular is a place to instill love for the motherland in students. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of student participation, identify programs, challenges, obstacles and efforts made to form an attitude of love for the motherland in scout extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 29 Bandung. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The participants involved in this study were vice principals, scout trainers and coaches, scout experts, and students as scout members. This research resulted in findings that the level of student participation had decreased in the previous 3 years, even though programs and efforts were still being improved by the school to form an attitude of patriotism in students. Despite the low level of student participation in scout extracurricular activities, these consistent scout members become influences, movers, and become dynamicators who can influence in positive terms to be role models for younger classmates and their peers.
