Objek dalam penelitian ini merupakan pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat khususnya Bagian Sekretariat sebanyak 63 orang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengumpulan data kuesioner. Analisis perhitungan yang digunakan yaitu program Microsoft Office Excel 2019 dan SPPS versi 26.0 for windows. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, dengan bunyi hipotesis Stres Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. Dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,328 yang menunjukkan Stres Kerja memiliki korelasi atau hubungan yang rendah atau lemah terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. Dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 10,8%, yang artinya meningkat dan menurunnya kinerja pegawai dipengaruhi oleh stres kerja sebesar 10,8% dan selebihnya 89,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kemudian nilai signifikansi yang dihasilkan sebesar 0,009 (00,9 < 0,05). Implikasi pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai yaitu stres kerja mempengaruhi meningkat dan menurunnya kinerja pegawai. Rekomendasi yang diberikan adalah pengelolaan sumber daya manusia agar stres kerja yang dialami hanya berada di kategori rendah hingga sedang. Kata Kunci: Stres Kerja, Kinerja Pegawai, Sumber Daya Manusia This title of the research is "The Influence of Work Stress to Employee Performance at the Education Office of West Java Province." The objects in this research were 63 employees at the Education Office of West Java Province, especially the Secretariat Section. This research aims to determine the influence of stress to employee performance. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used in this research was questionnaire data collection. The calculation analysis used is the Microsoft Office Excel 2019 program and SPPS version 26.0 for Windows. This research concludes that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, with the sound hypothesis that Job Stress significantly influences Employee Performance. With a correlation value of 0.328 which indicates Job Stress has a low or weak correlation or relationship to Employee Performance. With a coefficient of determination of 10.8%, which means that the increase and decrease in employee performance are influenced by work stress of 10.8%, and other factors influence the remaining 89.2%. Then the resulting significance value is 0.009 (00.9 <0.05). The implication of the influence of work stress to employee performance is that work stress affects the increase and decrease in employee performance. The recommendation is to manage human resources so that the work stress experienced is only in the low to moderate category.
