%X This research was conducted based on the problem of implementing distance learning during the pandemic which resulted in a decline in students' moral values. One of the reasons for the decline in moral values is due to the loss of the teacher's role model in learning. Based on these problems, the government is again promoting character education through literary works in learning at school. The aim of this research is to create a design for teaching materials originating from an analysis of short stories selected by Korrie Layun Rampan in order to regenerate moral values in students that were lost during the pandemic. This study used Korrie Layun Rampan's short stories and analyzed their structure using Todorov's theory and moral values. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data source for this research comes from selected short stories by Korrie Layun Rampan in the collection of short stories called Lintas Malam. These short stories are short stories Rattan, Conversations about the Country, Rice, Deer, and Journey in Darkness. The research results are in the form of teaching materials in the form of learning modules which are compiled from the results of the analysis and adapted to basic competencies in learning. The teaching materials are validated through instruments with Indonesian language teacher validators who teach at senior high school levels.
