Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa kelas 11 IPS 2, SMAN 15 Bandung dalam menulis teks resensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas berdasarkan model Arikunto dengan dua siklus pembelajaran. Pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model problem based learning berbasis media film. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa wawancara, Rancangan Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), tes, rubrik penilaian, catatan lapangan, lembar observasi dan angket. Pada siklus 1, siswa meresensi sebuah film yang dipilih bersama kelompoknya. Hasil siklus 1 menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam mencantumkan judul, aspek identitas secara lengkap, mengungkapkan kelebihan, kekurangan, pendapatnya, serta amanat yang terdapat dalam film yang diresensi. Selanjutnya, pada siklus 2 siswa secara individu meresensi sebuah film yang sudah ditentukan. Hasil siklus 2 menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan terhadap kemampuan menulis teks resensi kelas 11 IPS 2. Siswa sudah mampu untuk memberikan judul terhadap hasil tulisannya, mencantumkan identitas film yang diresensi secara lengkap, mengungkapkan kelebihan, kekurangan, pendapat, serta amanat yang terdapat dalam film dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model problem based learning berbasis media film dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis teks resensi. ; This study is motivated by the problems in the skill of writing review texts, namely low interest in learning to write; low level of literacy that makes students feel bored if they have to review a reading; and difficulty in expressing opinions. Therefore, this study aims to improve the skills of students of grade 11 IPS 2, SMAN 15 Bandung in writing review texts. This study used Classroom Action Research method based on Arikunto's model with two learning cycles. The learning in this study used problem-based learning model based on movie media. Data collection in this study is by using research instruments in the form of interviews, lesson plans, tests, assessment rubrics, field notes, observation sheets and questionnaires. In cycle 1, students reviewed a movie chosen with their group. The results of cycle 1 showed that students still had difficulty in including the title, complete identity aspects, expressing the advantages, disadvantages, opinions, and mandate contained in the movie being reviewed. Furthermore, in cycle 2 students individually reviewed a movie that had been determined. The results of cycle 2 showed that there was an increase in the ability to write review texts in class 11 IPS 2. Students were able to give a title to their writing, include the identity of the reviewed film completely, express the advantages, disadvantages, opinions, and mandate contained in the film well.
