More specifically, the problems to be studied in this research include the following three things: (1) the illocutionary power of alleged acts of defamation against Iriana Joko Widodo in tweets on the Twitter account @Migran\_TV\_7777; (2) the implicature of alleged acts of defamation against Iriana Joko Widodo in tweets on the Twitter account @Migran\_TV\_7777; (3) the level of validity of alleged acts of defamation against Iriana Joko Widodo in tweets on the Twitter account @Migran\_TV\_7777. In its implementation, this research uses the theoretical approach of Pragmatics by utilizing qualitative methods. The data in this study are sourced from tweets and comments on the Twitter account @Migrant\_TV\_7777. The data collection instrument used in this research is a data card adapted to the research needs. The collected data are then analyzed for illocutionary power, speech implicature, and the level of validity of the speech using the Felicity Conditions theory. The findings of this study are as follows. First, two types of illocutionary force were found: assertive force, as many as 20 utterances, and directive force, as many as three. The illocutionary power includes insinuating, blaming, stating, accusing, and commanding. Second, 22 violations of the principle of cooperation were found in 20 speech data. Overall, there are three implicatures in the netizen's speech in the comment column of the Twitter account @Migran\_TV\_7777, namely the implicature that the netizen dislikes, does not accept, is annoyed, and is annoyed with Iriana's appearance. Second, there is an implicature that the netizen intends to satirize, make fun of, insult, and slander Iriana. Finally, there is an implicature that the netizen intends to provoke the public to defame Iriana Joko Widodo as the speech partner. Third, based on the analysis of the level of validity of the utterances, there is a fact that all utterances can be declared as acts of defamation against Iriana Joko Widodo as stated in Article 27 paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph (1) of Law No.9/2016 on the Restriction of Law No.11/2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE).}, author = {Alya Faradita Putri, -}, url = {https://repository.upi.edu} }
