However, the importance of mathematical literacy for students in Indonesia differs from Indonesia's achievements at the international level in PISA. This situation makes facilitating students' mathematical literacy in learning mathematics very important. Before learning is carried out, it is necessary to prepare for learning mathematics. Teacher preparation before learning is a crucial strategy because teacher preparation significantly impacts learning and student learning outcomes. However, many teachers prepare lessons without being aligned with the preparation of appropriate teaching materials, thus causing the learning process to be less than optimal for students and the emergence of various student learning difficulties that do not lead to an appropriate response from a teacher. This study aims to develop mathematics teaching materials with a cultural context to facilitate junior high school students' mathematical literacy. The research and development model used in this research is the ADDIE model. The results of the study concluded that the teaching materials in the form of modules and student worksheets (LKPD) which were developed contained contextual issues related to culture and quadrilaterals, so that these teaching materials were able to facilitate students' mathematical literacy by formulating, using, interpreting, and evaluating mathematics to make judgments. reasoned in solving real-world context problems. The rectangular teaching materials in the Sundanese context to facilitate mathematical literacy that have been developed are considered valid, very practical, and effective in the medium category.
