Abstract

Proses pendidikan di masa kini sudah banyak terpengaruh dengan kemajuan teknologi, termasuk bidang pendidikan yang mengalami perkembangan pesat terutama di bagian media pembelajaran. Ilmu sejarah merupakan cabang keilmuan menjadi mata pelajaran wajib di tingkat menengah atas. Di banyak sekolah proses pembelajaran sejarah terutama Sejarah Indonesia, siswa-siswi pada umumnya belajar dengan media buku paket pelajaran yang disediakan oleh sekolah dan dengan mendengarkan penjelasan yang disampaikan oleh guru, hal ini menimbulkan masalah berupa penurunan minat belajar dan eksplorasi yang dialami oleh siswa-siswi dikarenakan beberapa sebab yaitu, (1) Pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara monoton, (2) Materi pelajaran yang kurang relate dengan budaya yang ada di masing-masing daerah, (3) Media pembelajaran berupa buku cetak dianggap kurang menarik oleh murid. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif untuk mempelajari Sejarah Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui proses dan hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran sejarah Kerajaan-kerajaan Bercorak Hindu-Buddha di Indonesia, (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil pengujian media pembelajaran sejarah Kerajaan-kerajaan Bercorak Hindu-Buddha di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian research and development (RnD) dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) versi Luther-Sutopo yang terdiri dari 6 Tahapan yakni Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Testing, Distribution. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bernilai praktis sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran Sejarah Indonesia di sekolah. ----- The educational process at present has been heavily influenced by technological advances, including the field of education which is experiencing rapid development, especially in the area of learning media. History is a branch of science that is a compulsory subject at the upper secondary level. In many schools the history learning process, especially Indonesian History, students generally study with the media of textbooks provided by the school and by listening to the explanations conveyed by the teacher, this causes problems in the form of a decrease in learning interest and exploration experienced by students due to several reasons, namely, (1) learning is carried out in a monotonous manner, (2) subject matter that is less related to the culture in each region, (3) learning media in the form of printed books is considered less attractive by students. Therefore, it is necessary to develop interactive multimedia-based learning media to study Indonesian history. This study aims to (1) find out the process and results of the development of learning media for the history of Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms in Indonesia, (2) find out the results of testing the learning media for the history of Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms in Indonesia. This study used the research and development (RnD) research method using the Luther-Sutopo version of the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) development method which consisted of 6 stages namely Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Testing, Distribution. The results of this study are expected to have practical value as an alternative media for learning Indonesian history in schools.
