Abstract

Mengintegrasikan Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) atau pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan ke dalam pembelajaran sangatlah diperlukan. Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) bertujuan agar dapat mengembangkan keterampilan peserta didik dalam bidang pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap dan nilai untuk menciptakan kehidupan yang berkelanjutan. Sekolah berperan penting dalam mewujudkan pendidikan yang menanamkan nilai berkelanjutan. Kemajuan teknologi membutuhkan inovasi dalam semua komponen pendidikan, salah satunya bahan ajar. Penggunaan bahan ajar berperan penting dalam keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar masih belum memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik dan perlu adanya inovasi dan perbaikan. Hasil wawancara kepada peserta didik mengenai bahan ajar yang diinginkan yaitu yang memuat gambar, animasi dan video yang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan secara rinci proses pengembangan modul elektronik berbasis Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) dalam konteks pemanasan global. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian yaitu Design Based Research (DBR) yang mengacu pada prosedur penelitian Reeves. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan studi literatur, studi pendahuluan berupa wawancara dan studi dokumentasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan expert judgment. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli materi, ahli bahan ajar, ahli pedagogik serta hasil respon peserta didik pada saat uji coba bahwa modul memperoleh kategori sangat baik dan layak digunakan. Sehingga menghasilkan produk akhir yaitu E-Modul Berbasis ESD dalam Konteks Pemanasan Global untuk Sekolah Dasar. Integrating Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) or education for sustainable development into learning is very necessary. Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) aims to develop students' skills in the fields of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to create a sustainable life. Schools play an important role in realizing education that instills sustainable values. Technological progress requires innovation in all components of education, one of which is teaching materials. The use of teaching materials plays an important role in the success of the learning process. Based on the preliminary study that the use of teaching materials still does not meet the needs of students and there is a need for innovation and improvement. The results of interviews with students regarding the desired teaching materials are those that contain interesting pictures, animations and videos. This study aims to explain in detail the process of developing an Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)-based electronic module in the context of global warming. The method used in this research is Design Based Research (DBR) which refers to Reeves' research procedures. The data collection technique used in this research is to use literature studies, preliminary studies in the form of interviews and documentation studies, Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and expert judgment. Based on the validation results from material experts, teaching materials experts, pedagogic experts and the results of student responses during the trial that the module was in a very good category and was feasible to use. So as to produce the final product, namely E-Module Based on ESD in the Context of Global Warming for Elementary Schools.
