Abstract

Tuna adalah salah satu kekayaan perikanan Indonesia. Permintaan ekspor ikan tuna Indonesia meningkat secara signifikan karena tingginya permintaan global terhadap konsumsi ikan tuna. Amerika Serikat menjadi salah satu pasar potensial ekspor ikan tuna serta Indonesia merupakan negara pengekspor tuna dengan daya saing tinggi dan berada pada tahap kedewasaan. Namun volume ekspor ikan tuna ke Amerika Serikat pada tahun 2010-2019 menurun sebesar 58,22%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap penurunan volume ekspor ikan tuna Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat pada tahun 2010-2019. Faktor yang diduga berpengaruh adalah produksi ikan tuna (X1), harga riil ikan tuna (X2), dan nilai tukar Rupiah terhadap dolar Amerika Serikat. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi linear berganda yang telah memenuhi pengujian asumsi klasik (uji normalitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji multikolinearitas, dan uji autokorelasi) dan pengujian hipotesis (uji t, uji F, dan uji koefisien determinasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, variabel produksi ikan tuna Indonesia, harga riil ekspor ikan tuna, dan nilai tukar Rupiah-Dolar AS berpengaruh sebesar 85,2% terhadap variabel ekspor ikan tuna Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat. Produksi ikan tuna Indonesia dan harga riil ikan tuna memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan memiliki arah hubungan yang negatif terhadap ekspor ikan tuna Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat. Sedangkan, nilai tukar Rupiah-Dolar AS memiliki pengaruh yang tidak signifikan dan juga memiliki arah hubungan yang negatif terhadap ekspor ikan tuna Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat. Tuna was one of Indonesia's fisheries assets. The demand for Indonesian tuna exports had increased significantly due to the high global demand for tuna consumption. The United States was a potential market for tuna exports and Indonesia was a tuna exporter with high competitiveness and was in the maturity stage. However, the volume of tuna exports to the United States in 2010-2019 decreased by 58.22%. This studied aims to determine the factors that influence the decline in the volume of Indonesian tuna exports to the United States in 2010-2019. Factors that were thought to have an effect are tuna production (X1), the real price of tuna (X2), and the Rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar. This study used a multiple linear regression model that meets the classical assumption tests (normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test, and autocorrelation test) and hypothesis testing (t-test, F test, and coefficient of determination test). The results showed that simultaneously, the variable production of Indonesian tuna, the real price of tuna exports, and the Rupiah-US Dollar exchange rate had an effect of 85.2% on the variable of Indonesian tuna exports to the United States. Indonesian tuna production and the real price of tuna had a significant influence and had a negative relationship with Indonesian tuna exports to the United States. Meanwhile, the Rupiah-US Dollar exchange rate had an insignificant effect and also had a negative direction toward Indonesian tuna exports to the United States.
