Abstract

Abstrak Pembelajaran pada siswa sekolah dasar umumnya dilakukan dengan proses yang menyenangkan atau diistilahkan dengan Joyful Learning. Joyful Learning dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dan membantu siswa untuk mendapatkan pengalaman belajar yang mengesankan. Namun kini nyatanya siswa sekolah dasar masih kurang mendapatkan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan. Penyebabnya dikarenakan pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara pasif dan kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik minat siswa. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah 1) Merancang media Joyclue; 2) Memvalidasi media Joyclue; 3) Mengetahui perbedaan keterlibatan aktif siswa pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen; serta, 4) Mengetahui pengaruh media Joyclue terhadap aktivitas siswa dalam implementasi Joyful Learning. Tahapan penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimen. Proses perancangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan perancangan desain grafis kemudian divalidasi kepada ahli media dan ahli materi. Implementasi dilakukan kepada 34 siswa kelas 5 SDN Model Kab. Sukabumi dengan pembagian kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Joyclue berpengaruh terhadap keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran menggunakan metode Joyful Learning. ----- Abstract Learning for elementary school students is generally carried out in a fun process or what is termed Joyful Learning. Joyful Learning can increase students' active involvement and help students get memorable learning experiences. But now in fact elementary schools are still lacking in enjoyable student learning experiences. The reason is because learning is carried out passively and the lack of use of learning media that attracts students' interest. The aims of this research were 1) Designing Joyclue media; 2) Validating Joyclue media; 3) Knowing the difference between students' active involvement in the control and experimental classes; and, 4) Knowing the influence of Joyclue media on students activities in the implementation of Joyful Learning. The stages of the research were carried out using a quantitative approach method with an experimental research design. The design process is carried out using graphic design and then it is validated by media experts and material experts. Implementation was carried out to 34 grade 5 students of SDN Model Kab. Sukabumi with the division of the control class and the experimental class. The results showed that the Joyclue learning media had an effect on students' active involvement in learning using the Joyful Learning method.
