Abstract

Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, terjadi penurunan nilai mutu pelayanan sosial di Dinas Sosial Kota Bandung. Hal tersebut dilihat salah satunya dari penurunan yang terjadi pada kondisi lingkungan kerja dari para pegawai yang ada di Dinas Sosial Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui kondisi lingkungan kerja di Dinas Sosial Kota Bandung pada bagian Pelayanan Sosial; (2) mengetahui tingkat mutu pelayanan sosial di Dinas Sosial Kota Bandung pada bagian Pelayanan Sosial; serta (3) mengetahui adakah pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap mutu pelayanan sosial di Dinas Sosial Kota Bandung pada bagian Pelayanan Sosial. Penelitian ditunjang oleh pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode survey. Instrumen penelitian yang dimanfaatkan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket atau kuesioner karena dinilai mampu memberikan data yang lebih baik terkait proses penelitian. Angket atau kuesioner disebar kepada 77 orang pegawai Dinas Sosial Kota Bandung yang termasuk ke dalam populasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menyatakan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan mutu pelayanan sosial di Dinas Sosial Kota Bandung berada pada kategori sangat baik. Nilai indikator terendah variabel Lingkungan Kerja adalah Hubungan Eksternal sedangkan nilai indikator terendah variabel Mutu Pelayanan Sosial adalah Kepastian. Data hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai Thitung > Ttabel (Thitung > 1,993) yang bermakna ditolaknya H0 dan diterimanya H1, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap mutu pelayanan sosial di Dinas Sosial Kota Bandung. Based on the data obtained, there was a decrease in the value of the quality of social services at the Bandung City Social Service. One of the reasons for this is seen from the decline that occurred in the working environment conditions of the employees at the Social Services Office of the City of Bandung. This study aims to (1) knowing the conditions of the work environment in the Bandung City Social Service in the Social Services section; (2) knowing the level of quality of social services at the Bandung City Social Service in the Social Services section; and (3) find out whether there is an influence of the work environment on the quality of social services at the Bandung City Social Services in the Social Services section. The research is supported by a quantitative approach and survey methods. The research instrument used in this study was a questionnaire because it was considered capable of providing better data related to the research process. Questionnaires were distributed to 77 employees of the Bandung City Social Service who were included in the study population. The results of the research conducted stated that the work environment and quality of social services were in the very good category. The lowest indicator value for the Work Environment variable is External Relations while the lowest indicator value for the Quality of Social Services variable is Certainty. The data from the hypothesis test results obtained by the value of Tcount > Ttable (Tcount > 1,993) which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, it can be said that the work environment has a positive and significant influence on the quality of social services.
