Abstract

Tingkat literasi yang rendah berdampak pada kemampuan peserta didik untuk belajar secara efektif, berpartisipasi dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Berdasarkan survei yang diberikan oleh PISA pada tahun 2019, Indonesia menempati peringkat ke 62 dari 70 negara. Kondisi ini bisa dikategorikan sebagai keadaan darurat membaca yang perlu segera ditangani karena akan berdampak pada perkembangan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna menghasilkan desain user interface dan user experience website literasi menggunakan konsep gamifikasi yang dapat membantu peserta didik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan kesiapan mereka dalam mengikuti tes PISA. Konsep gamifikasi yang diterapkan dalam desain user interface dan user experience website literasi Will’Do yaitu poin, peringkat, profil, dan level. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D yang telah dimodifikasi dengan adanya penambahan metode pengembangan yakni Design Thinking pada tahapan desain produk. Penelitian ini melalui pengujian dengan metric effectiveness, metric efficiency, dan metric satisfaction untuk mengukur tingkat efektifitas, efisiensi, dan keterpakaian. Berdasarkan hasil skor SUS yang didapatkan dengan nilai 78 yang mana nilai tersebut dalam kriteria “adjective rating” berada pada tingkat “Okay” untuk kriteria “grade scale” berada pada grade “C” dan untuk kriteria “acceptability rangers” berada pada “acceptable”. Hasil skor SUS ini menunjukan bahwa user interface dan user experience website Will’Do sudah berada di batas aman tingkat usability testing. Meskipun teknologi memiliki peran yang penting dalam kegiatan literasi peserta didik, perlu diingat bahwa pengawasan dan panduan orang dewasa tetap diperlukan untuk memastikan penggunaan teknologi yang aman, sehat, dan bermanfaat bagi peserta didik. ----- Low literacy levels have an impact on students' ability to learn effectively, participate in community life. Based on a survey conducted by PISA in 2019, Indonesia is ranked 62nd out of 70 countries. This condition can be categorized as a reading emergency that needs to be addressed immediately because it will have an impact on educational development. This study aims to produce user interface designs and user experience literacy websites using the concept of gamification which can help students improve their literacy skills and readiness to take the PISA test. The gamification concept applied in the user interface design and user experience of the Will'Do literacy website are points, ratings, profiles, and levels. In this study using the R&D method which has been modified with the addition of the development method namely Design Thinking at the product design stage. This research is through testing with metric effectiveness, metric efficiency, and metric satisfaction to measure the level of effectiveness, efficiency, and usability. Based on the results of the SUS score obtained with a value of 78 where the value in the "adjective rating" criteria is at the "Okay" level for the "grade scale" criteria is at grade "C" and for the "acceptability rangers" criteria is at "acceptable". The results of this SUS score show that the user interface and user experience of the Will'Do website are already at the safe limit of the usability testing level. Even though technology has an important role in students' literacy activities, keep in mind that adult supervision and guidance is still needed to ensure the use of technology that is safe, healthy, and beneficial for students.
