Abstract
Di sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) terdapat kegiatan Praktik kerja lapangan (PKL), dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat sekolah yang mengelola kegiatan PKL secara manual, salah satunya SMKN 1 Pakisjaya Karawangbaik dalam penyampaian informasi yang dilakukan secara langsung kepada guru dan siswa sehingga informasi yang didapatkan kurang akurat karena penangkapan setiap orang berbeda-beda, jurnal harian ditulis tangan oleh siswa sehingga guru pembimbing hanya dapat melihat kegiatan harian saat jurnal tersebut dikumpulkan serta siswa kadang malas dalam menulis jurnal harian setiap hari, guru pembimbing tidak dapat mengawasi setiap hari kegiatan PKL siswa, sehingga hal-hal tersebut dapat mengakibatkan pelaksanaan kegiatan Praktik kerja lapangan di SMKN 1 Pakisjaya Karawangtidak efektif dan efisien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini membangun Sistem Informasi Praktik kerja lapangan di SMKN 1 Pakisjaya Karawang Berbasis Website serta memastikan sistem yang dibangun sesuai kebutuhan dan sebagai solusi dari permasalahan yang ada. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM) yang terdiri dari enam tahapan yaitu latar belakang dan identifikasi masalah, perumusan tujuan dari sebuah solusi, perancangan dan pengembangan, unjuk kerja, evaluasi dan komunikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini sebuah sistem informasi Akademik PKL berbasis website beserta evaluasi dari sistem tersebut. Diharapkan sistem informasi yang dibuat dapat membantu kegiatan Praktik kerja lapangan di SMKN 1 Pakisjaya Karawanglebih efektif dan efisien. Kata kunci : Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan, Praktik kerja lapangan, Sistem Informasi, Website, Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM). ----- In Vocational High Schools (SMK) there are industrial work practices (PKL), In practice, there are schools that manage PKL activities manually, one of them is SMKN 1 Pakisjaya Karawang, both in the delivery of information that is carried out directly to teachers and students so that the information obtained is less accurate because each person's arrest is different, daily journals written by students so that the supervising teacher can see daily activities when the journals are collected and sometimes students are lazy in writing journals every day, Supervising teachers cannot supervise students' PKL activities every day, so that these things can result in the implementation of industrial work practices at SMKN 1 Pakisjaya Karawangbeing ineffective and inefficient. The purpose of this research is to build a Website-Based Information System for Industrial Practices at SMKN 1 Pakisjaya Karawangand ensure that the system is built according to needs and as a solution to existing problems. The method used in this research is Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM) which consists of six stages including problem identification and motivation, objectives of a solution, design and development, demonstration, evaluation, and communication. The result of this research is an internship information system based on the website along with the evaluation of the system. It is hoped that the information system created can help the industrial work practice activities at SMKN 1 Pakisjaya Karawangbe more effective and efficient.
