Abstract

Menyimak merupakan keterampilan dasar dalam berbahasa yang harus dimiliki siswa. Siswa harus mempunyai kemampuan menyimak yang baik pada saat proses pembelajaran, salah satunya pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan di kelas IV di SDN, nilai siswa dalam kemampuan menyimak terbilang rendah. Maka dari itu penulis mencoba menerapkan metode role playing berbantuan powerpoint agar kemampuan siswa dalam menyimak cerita fiksi meningkat . Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui penerapan metode role playing berbantuan powerpoint dalam kegiatan menyimak cerita fiksi dan juga mengetahui kemampuan menyimak siswa setelah diterapkan metode role playing berbantuan powerpoint. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian Tindakan kelas dengan desain penelitian Kemmis dan MC Taggard yang dilaksanakn dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan/tindakan, pemantauan dan refleksi dalam dua kali pertemuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN dengan subjek penelitian 32 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian terdapat peningkatan pada kemampuan siswa dalam menyimak cerita fiksi setelah diterapkan metode role playing berbantuan media powerpoint, peningkatan kemampuan menyimak cerita fiksi ditunjukan oleh hasil aktivitas dan hasil tes siswa. Rata-rata hasil tes kemampuan menyimak cerita fiksi pada pra siklus 63 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 53%. Siklus I presentase ketuntasan 75% dengan rata-rata 75. Siklus II persentase ketuntasan siswa meningkat menjadi 91% dengan nilai rata-rata 80. Dengan demikian penerapan metode role playing berbantuan media powerpoint dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dalam menyimak cerita fiksi Kata Kunci : Metode Role Playing, Media PowerPoint, Menyimak Cerita Fiksi, Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. ----- Listening is a basic skill in language that students must have. So the author tries to apply the powerpoint-assisted role playing method so that students' abilities in listening to fiction stories. The purpose of this study was to find out the application of the powerpoint-assisted role playing method in listening to fictional stories and also to find out students' listening skills after the PowerPoint-assisted role playing method was applied. This research was conducted using the classroom action research method with the research design of Kemmis and MC Taggard, through 2 cycles. This research was conducted at SDN with 32 students as research subjects. There was an increase in students' ability to listen to fictional stories after applying the role playing method assisted by PowerPoint media, this was shown by the results of student activities and learning outcomes. the average result of the ability to listen to fictional stories in pre-cycle 63 with a classical learning mastery of 53%. Cycle I the percentage of completeness was 75% with an average of 75. Cycle II the percentage of students' completeness increased to 91% with an average score of 80.
