Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kerja sama siswa pada pembelajaran IPS siswa SDN Cikubang. Hal ini dilihat dari kurangnya interaksi siswa saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Terdapat beberapa kelompok yang anggotanya tidak ikut andil dalam berdiskusi dan mengerjakan tugas, mereka lebih pada melaksanakan kegiatannya sendiri seperti bermain, mengganggu teman dalam kelompok, hal ini diduga karena kurangnya variasi guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran yang menjadikan pembelajaran menjadi monoton dan kurangnya interaksi antara guru dan siswa maupun siswa dengan siswa lain. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelitian tentang penerapan model Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kerja sama siswa pada pembelajaran IPS. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Cikubang sebanyak 48 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning berjalan dengan baik, Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil observasi peningkatan kerja sama siswa ditandai dengan peningkatan persentase tiap aspek kerja sama dari tahap pra tindakan sampai siklus III. Tingkat rerata pencapaian skor saat pra tindakan sebesar 2,28 (57,15%), rerata pencapaian skor pada siklus I sebesar 2,91 (73%), rerata pencapaian skor pada siklus II sebesar 3,37 (84,45%), rerata pencapaian skor pada siklus III sebesar 3,7 (92,7%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan kerja sama pada pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas V melalui model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terbimbing mengalami peningkatan. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low level of student cooperation in social studies learning at SDN Cikubang. This can be seen from the lack of student interaction during learning. There are several groups whose members do not take part in discussing and working on assignments, they are more on carrying out their own activities such as playing, disturbing friends in the group, this is thought to be due to the lack of variety of teachers in delivering learning materials that make learning monotonous and lack of interaction between teachers and students and students with other students.Based on these problems, researchers conducted research on the application of the Problem Based Learning model to improve student cooperation skills in social studies learning. The type of research used in this study is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects in this study were 48 fifth grade students of SDN Cikubang. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning model went well, this was evidenced by the results of observations of increased student cooperation marked by an increase in the percentage of each aspect of cooperation from the pre-action stage to cycle III. The average level of score achievement during pre-action was 2,28 (57,15%), the average score achievement in cycle I was 2,91 (73%), the average score achievement in cycle II was 3,37 (84,45%), the average score achievement in cycle III was 3,7 (92,7%). Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the skills of cooperation in social studies learning of grade V students through guided Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has increased.
