    Abstract

    Mathematics and culture have a very close relationship in everyday life. Through Ethnomatematics, researchers are able to teach mathematics through an introduction to local culture. Sundanese ethnomathematics in this study is about Fort Speelwijk which is located in Kasemen District, Serang City. This research was conducted in 2 elementary schools, namely SDN Cikulur and SDN Pamarican 1, this study used the DDR (Didactical Research Design) research method.
    In this study, the researcher found learning obstacles in the spatial material, then from these learning obstacles the researcher compiled an Initial Didactic Design using miniature media and implemented it, and the next step if there were still learning obstacles in the DDA the researcher made a Didactic Design Revision and implemented it.

    Matematika dan budaya memiliki keterkaitan yang sangat erat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Melalui Etnomatematika, peneliti mampu mengajarkan matematika melalui pengenalan budaya lokal. Etnomatematika Sunda pada penelitian ini yaitu tentang Benteng Speelwijk yang terletak di Kecamatan Kasemen, Kota Serang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di 2 Sekolah Dasar yakni SDN Cikulur dan SDN Pamarican 1, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian DDR (Desain Didactical Research).
    Pada penelitian ini peneliti menemukan learning obstacle pada materi bangun ruang, kemudian dari learning obstacle tersebut peneliti menyusun Desain Didaktik Awal dengan menggunakan media miniatur dan diimplementasikan, serta langkah selanjutnya jika masih terdapat learning obstacle pada DDA peneliti membuat Revisi Desain Didaktik dan diimplementasikan.
