Abstract

This paper is an attempt to study the language atti tude based on the students' educational background and their programmes of study, the result of which is hoped to be some value in improving the English teaching and learn ing and in providing a slight information for those who are interested in elaborating further study. The completion of this paper has terminated the wri ter's studies at the English Department. The writer reali zes that this pap~r is still far from being perfect, there are still so many shortcomings inspite of having done her best. In this case, the writer always expects constructive and consultative criticism
