Abstract

Percepatan informasi dan komunikasi di abad 21 yang tidak selaras dengan kemampuan menganalisis informasi menimbulkan permasalahan salah satunya kabar bohong. Upaya menumbuhkembangkan pemikiran ilmiah peserta didik dilakukan guru dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran berbasis projek dan pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap keterampilan berpikir ilmiah peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 60 peserta didik kelas XI IPS yang terbagi kedalam 2 kelas. Alat ukur yang digunakan yakni berupa instrumen tes dan instrumen non-tes, instrumen tes berupa tes sebelum pembelajaran dan tes setelah pembelajaran, sedangkan instrumen non-tes yakni unjuk kerja. Jenis analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, 1) terdapat perbedaan sebelum dan setelah penerapan pembelajaran berbasis projek terhadap keterampilan berpikir ilmiah, 2) terdapat perbedaan sebelum dan setelah penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap keterampilan berpikir ilmiah, 3) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis projek dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap keterampilan berpikir ilmiah. Dapat disimpulkan, penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran berbasis projek dan pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap keterampilan berpikir ilmiah peserta didik. The acceleration of information and communication in the 21st century which is not in line with the ability to analyze information, causing problems, one of which is fake news. Efforts to develop students' scientific thinking are carried out by the teacher by applying the right learning model. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of implementing project-based learning and problem-based learning on students' scientific thinking skills. This study used a quasi-experimental method (Quasi Experiment). The sample of this study consisted of 90 students of class XI Social Sciences which were divided into 3 classes. The measuring instrument used is in the form of test instruments and non-test instruments, the test instruments are in the form of tests before learning and tests after learning, while the non-test instruments are performance. Types of data analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed, 1) there were differences before and after the application of project-based learning to scientific thinking skills, 2) there were differences before and after the application of problem-based learning to scientific thinking skills, 3) there were differences in the effect of project-based learning and problem-based learning on skills scientific thinking. It can be concluded, this study shows that there is an influence of the application of project-based learning and problem-based learning on students' scientific thinking skills.
