Abstract

Sistem Kredit Semester (SKS) merupakan sebuah sistem pengganti dari sistem paket yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya pada jenjang pendidikan menengah atas. SKS dapat mengakomodasi karakteristik siswa berdasarkan minat, bakat dan kemampuannya dalam menyelesaikan pendidikan sesuai dengan kecepatan belajar masing-masing. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis mengenai penerapan Sistem Kredit Semester (SKS) dalam pembelajaran di SMAN 10 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data utama dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan : (1) Persiapan dan perencanaan tentang Sistem Kredit Semester (SKS) dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran di SMAN 10 Bandung oleh sekolah, sudah berjalan dengan baik. (2) Pelaksanaan penerapan sistem SKS dalam pembelajaran di SMAN 10 Bandung berjalan cukup baik. (3) Terkait dengan faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan SKS dalam pembelajaran di SMAN 10 Bandung, ada beberapa faktor penghambat seperti kurangnya kesadaran siswa terhadap tanggung jawabnya mengikuti dan menuntaskan pembelajaran, miskomunikasi antar guru, siswa dan orang tua siswa dan pemanfaatan sarana yang belum optimal. Sedangkan untuk faktor pendukung yaitu lingkungan sosial siswa yang supportif menjadi hal yang penting dalam pembelajaran dengan SKS, cara mengajar guru yang inovatif dan rekreatif juga menjadi salah satu faktor pendukung SKS. The Semester Credit System (SKS) is a replacement system to the predetermined package system at the senior secondary education level. SKS can accommodate student characteristics based on their interests, talents and abilities in completing education according to their individual learning speed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the Semester Credit System (SKS) in learning at SMAN 10 Bandung. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collection by observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires as supporters. The results of this study indicate: (1) Preparation and planning of the Semester Credit System (SKS) in learning at SMAN 10 Bandung by the School has been going well. (2) The implementation of the SKS system in learning at SMAN 10 Bandung is going quite well. (3) Related to the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of SKS in learning at SMAN 10 Bandung, the inhibiting factors such as lack of students awareness of their responsibilities in following and completing learning, miscommunication between teachers, students and parents of students and utilization of facilities that are not optimal. As for the supporting factors, a supportive social environment for students is become important for learning with SKS, innovative and recreational ways of teaching by teachers are also one of the supporting factors for SKS.
