Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena banyaknya perilaku maladaptif remaja yang disebabkan oleh keadaan broken home. Tujuan penelitian adalah memperoleh profil mengenai emotional intelligence (EI) remaja broken home. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu populasi peserta didik broken home secara struktural kelas XI di SMAN 15 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 100 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan emotional intelligence (EI) remaja broken home di SMAN 15 Bandung yaitu sebagian kecil termasuk pada kategori rendah dengan persentase 19%, dan kategori tinggi dengan persentase 81%. Kemudian layanan bimbingan dan konseling di SMAN 15 Bandung tidak ada rancangan khusus layanan konseling individual. Berdasarkan kondisi emotional intelligence (EI) remaja broken home yang diperoleh maka disusun rancangan layanan konseling individual rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) yang terdiri dari: rasional, deskripsi kebutuhan, tujuan, asumsi, sasaran dan pelaksanaan, prosedur pelaksanaan, garis besar sesi konseling individual, rancangan operasional, pengembangan RPL, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut, serta anggaran biaya. Rekomendasi penelitian ditujukan kepada pihak sekolah, guru bimbingan dan konseling, serta peneliti selanjutnya. :
The research was motivated by the phenomenon that many adolescents' maladaptive behavior was caused by a broken home. The purpose of this study was to obtain a profile of the emotional intelligence (EI) of broken home adolescents. This research used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subject was the population of students who were structurally broken home in class XI at SMAN 15 Bandung in the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 100 students. The results showed that the emotional intelligence (EI) of broken home youth at SMAN 15 Bandung, namely a small proportion, was included in the low category with a percentage of 19%, and in the high category with a percentage of 81%. Then the guidance and counseling services at SMAN 15 Bandung do not have a special design for individual counseling services. Based on the emotional intelligence (EI) condition of broken home adolescents obtained, an individual rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) counseling service design was prepared consisting of: rationale, description of needs, objectives, assumptions, goals and implementation, implementation procedures, outline of individual counseling session, operational design, RPL development, evaluation and follow up, and budgeting. Research recommendations were addressed to the school, guidance and counseling teachers, and future researchers.
