Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini dilaksanakan karena pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh maupun tatap muka, guru dalam proses pembelajaran hanya memberikan penugasan berupa modul dan jarang menggunakan media. Guru tidak memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi smartphone yang sudah dimiliki siswa. Pembelajaran dengan pemberian tugas saja membuat kurang semangat dan tidak ada motivasi dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Android dan hasil pengembangan media. Media pembelajaran dikembangkan menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model penelitian PPE yang dikembangkan oleh Richey dan Klein, melalui tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan (planning), produksi (production), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Pada tahapan perencanaan dilakukan analisis kebutuhan, analisis materi, analisis kebutuhan software dan hardware, menyusun GBIM, dan membuat rancangan media pembelajaran. Pada tahap produksi dilakukan pembuatan media pembelajaran dan pada tahap evaluasi dilakukan penilaian dari para ahli untuk mengetahui kelayakan media yang telah dibuat. Media komik digital mendapatkan nilai 88% dengan kategori penilaian “Sangat Baik” dari ahli materi, 95,5% dengan kategori penilaian “Sangat Baik” dari ahli media, dan 96% dengan kategori penilaian “Sangat Baik” dari ahli pembelajaran. Nilai total dari para ahli yaitu 93% dengan kategori penilaian “Sangat Layak”, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya media pembelajaran komik digital yang dibuat layak untuk dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran. This development research was conducted because in the implementation of distance and face-to-face learning, the teacher in the learning process only gave assignments in the form of modules and rarely used media. Teachers did not use smartphone technology-based learning media that students already have. Learning by only giving assignments makes students less enthusiastic and there is no motivation to learn in the learning process. This study aims to describe the process of developing Android-based learning media and the results of media development. Learning media was developed using the Design and Development (D&D) method with the PPE research model developed by Richey and Klein through three stages, namely planning, production, and evaluation. On the planning stage, requirement analysis, material analysis, software and hardware requirement analysis, GBIM construction, and learning media design were conducted. On the production stage the learning media production was made, and on the evaluation stage experts assessment were conducted to determine the suitability of the media produced. Media digital comic received a score of 88% with a "Very Good" assessment category from the material experts, 95,5% with a "Very Good" assessment category from the media experts, and 96% with a "Very Good" assessment category from the learning experts. The total assessment score from the experts was 93% with the assessment category "Very Good". In conclusion the digital comic learning media that was produced is suitable to be used as a learning medium.
