Abstract

ABSTRAK Wina Hafizah Rahmi (2105173). Tesis: Pengembangan Tes Keterampilan Rally Forehand dan Backhand Drive Tenis Meja Menggunakan Media Return Board. Tesis ini dibimbing oleh pembimbing I: Prof. Dr. Hj. Tite Juliantine, M.Pd dan pembimbing II: Prof. Dr. Hj. Nina Sutresna, M.Pd. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat ukur tes keterampilan rally forehand dan backhand drive tenis meja menggunakan media return board supaya menghasilkan hasil penelitian lebih akurat dan efesiensi pengerjaan dalam melakukan sebuah tes. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode R&D (Research and Development), yang bekerja sama dengan tim pakar atau ahli dalam berbagai bidang tertentu terutama dibidang tenis meja. Agar dalam pengembangan penelitian ini peneliti dapat menciptakan suatu produk yang dapat divalidasi sebelum produk tersebut digunakan oleh kalangan orang banyak. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada 8 atlet putra UKM tenis meja UPI. Tes keterampilan forehand drive menggunakan return board pada cabang olahraga tenis meja memiliki validitas yang valid dengan nilai 0.962 menunjukkan bahwa kategori sangat tinggi dan nilai reliabilitasnya adalah 0.961 dengan interprestasi sangat tinggi. Tes keterampilan backhand drive menggunakan return board pada cabang olahraga tenis meja memiliki validitas yang valid dengan nilai 0.847 menunjukkan bahwa kategori sangat tinggi dan nilai reliabilitasnya adalah 0.906 dengan interprestasi sangat tinggi. Tes keterampilan forehand dan backhand drive menggunakan return board pada cabang olahraga tenis meja memiliki validitas yang valid dengan nilai 0.905 menunjukkan kategori sangat tinggi dan nilai reliabilitasnya adalah 0.949 dengan interprestasi sangat tinggi. Kesimpulan dari pernyataan di atas yaitu pengembangan tes keterampilan rally forehand dan backhand drive tenis meja menggunakan media return board menghasilkan instrumen yang bisa digunakan untuk alat ukur dalam olahraga tenis meja, karena ketiga instrumen tersebut dinyatakan valid dan reliabel, sehingga media return board layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan forehand dan backhand drive. This study aims to develop a measuring instrument for table tennis rally forehand and backhand drive skills using the return board media so as to produce more accurate research results and work efficiency in conducting a test. The method used in this research is the R&D (Research and Development) method, which works with a team of experts or experts in various specific fields, especially in the field of table tennis. So that in the development of this research researchers can create a product that can be validated before the product is used by the general public. The sample used in this study were 8 male athletes from UPI table tennis. The forehand drive skill test using the return board in table tennis has a valid validity with a value of 0. 962 indicates that the category is very high and the reliability value is 0.961 with a very high interpretation. The backhand drive skill test using the return board in table tennis has a valid validity with a value of 0.847 indicating that the category is very high and the reliability value is 0.906 with a very high interpretation. The forehand and backhand drive skills test using the return board in table tennis has a valid validity with a value of 0.905 indicating a very high category and a reliability value of 0.949 with a very high interpretation. The conclusion from the statement above is that the development of a table tennis forehand and backhand drive rally skills test using the return board media produces instruments that can be used as measuring instruments in table tennis, because the three instruments are declared valid and reliable, so the return board media is feasible to use to improve forehand and backhand drive skills.
