Abstract

Kompetensi pedagogik merupakan salah satu dari empat kompetensi inti yang harus dikuasai seorang pendidik. Berbagai lembaga baik dari sektor pemerintah, swasta maupun organisasi nirlaba menaruh perhatian pada upaya pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik guru melalui kegiatan pelatihan maupun lokakarya. Namun, fenomena yang terjadi saat ini peserta kegiatan pelatihan atau lokakarya tersebut didominasi oleh guru-guru pemula atau yang berusia muda, sekolah biasanya mendelegasikan guru-guru pemula dengan alasan pengalaman kerja yang masih kurang. Guru mengonfirmasi anggapan tersebut diperlukan penelitian untuk mengungkap pengaruh pengalaman kerja terhadap tingkat penguasaan kompetensi guru TK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengalaman kerja, gambaran kompetensi pedagogik guru serta pengaruh dari pengalaman kerja terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru TK se-kecamatan Serang. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian mencakup 44 orang guru TK di Kecamatan Serang, Kota Serang, Banten. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket kompetensi pedagogik guru. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 1). Guru TK di Kecamatan Serang memiliki rentang masa kerja 5-10 tahun dengan tingkat kesesuaian dan bidang PAUD pada kategori sesuai. 2). kompetensi pedagogik guru TK di Kecamatan Serang berada pada kategori sedang (65,9%) dengan indikator tertinggi yakni kemampuan melaksanakan pembelajaran(31%). 3). Koefisien korelasi antara variabel pengalaman kerja (X) dan kompetensi pedagogik (Y) guru TK adalah 0,282. Ha diterima apabila > 0,2973 r tabel. Dengan demikian tidak terdapat pengaruh pengalaman kerja terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru TK di kecamatan Serang. Penelitian ini direkomendasikan kepada beberapa pihak antara lain guru TK, para pemengang kebijakan, dan untuk peneliti selanjutnya. Pedagogic competence is one of the four core competencies that must be mastered by an educator. Various institutions from the government, private and non-profit sectors pay attention to efforts to develop teacher pedagogic competencies through training activities and workshops. However, the current phenomenon is that the participants in the training or workshop are dominated by novice or young teachers, schools usually delegate novice teachers on the grounds that they lack work experience. The teacher confirms this assumption that research is needed to reveal the effect of work experience on the level of mastery of the competence of kindergarten teachers. This study aims to determine the description of work experience, description of teacher pedagogic competence and the influence of work experience on the pedagogic competence of kindergarten teachers in Serang sub-district. The approach used in this research is quantitative research. The method used is descriptive method with correlational design. The research sample includes 44 kindergarten teachers in Serang District, Serang City, Banten. The data collection technique used a teacher pedagogical competency questionnaire. Data analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results showed 1). Kindergarten teachers in Serang District have a work period of 5-10 years with a level of suitability and the PAUD field in the appropriate category. 2). The pedagogic competence of kindergarten teachers in Serang District is in the medium category (65.9%) with the highest indicator being the ability to carry out learning (31%). 3). The correlation coefficient between the variables of work experience (X) and pedagogic competence (Y) of kindergarten teachers is 0.282. Ha is accepted if > 0,2973 r table. Thus, there is no effect of work experience on the pedagogic competence of kindergarten teachers in Serang sub-district. This research is recommended to several parties, including kindergarten teachers, policy makers, and for further researchers.
